Pressure canners are really just oversized pressure cookers that have been specifically designed to 'preserve food in bottles, jars and cans. The US based National Presto Company has been manufacturing pressure canners since 1905. Following recommended guidelines, these pressure canners can be used to preserve low acid fruit and vegetabes as well as meat and fish. Can also be used to bottle food using the hot water bath method in non-pressure mode.

Made the traditional old fashioned way in a family owned business in Zanesville Ohio. These food safe items have lead free glazes and are dishwasher, microwave and conventional oven safe.

The crocks range in size from 4 to 20 litres and are ideal for making sauerkraut, pickling meat and vegetables and processing acidic and corrosive foods.
